Description
Assorted Quartets combines three excerpts from When We Were Very Young (1980) and one from Mud (1977). The four quartets remained unchanged from their original versions. The music, however, is replaced by a selection of traditional Irish songs and jigs. This same collection of excerpts was performed again in 1988 with another score under the title Four Down Under.
