From the original program: "This concert is possible through the cooperation of the New York State Council on the Arts."
In Forevermore, a rolling snare drum off-stage serves to emphasize the movement: three dancers perform a wave of jetés; one dancer repeatedly rolls to the floor and stands again, simultaneously rolling her hair down and pinning it back up. As the drummer moves from one side of the building to the other, the volume of the drum roll and the dynamic of the dancers’ movement increase or decrease depending on the distance of the drummer from the audience. The scale of the movement cycles large to small as the dancers move downstage in the crescendos and upstage in the diminuendos.
