Three Page Sonata For Four

Three Page Sonata For Four integrates the structure of Charles Ives' music with the thematic material of the choreography. The musical score - transcribed into Tharp's own movement iconography - dictates the path of each dancer and the work's structural patterns. A recording of the music plays in accompaniment.
